What’s involved in an asbestos Survey!

The survey is carried out systematically, methodically and diligently to ensure that all relevant areas of the premises are inspected and nothing is missed. If site plans have been provided by the client, these will be used to aid the site survey.

To ensure that all areas are inspected and nothing is missed, a systematic approach to the site inspection is implemented. The survey should start internally or externally and be completed fully before proceeding to the next area.

Each room should be inspected in full before proceeding to the next room to ensure areas are not missed. Notes will be taken detailing the type of material, condition, extent, and photographs. Once the entire premises has been completed, a final walk-through will be conducted checking out notes against any plans.

Upon completion of the site survey, we will debrief with the client explaining all the suspect areas that have been sampled and areas that may contain asbestos. Any questions the client may have at this time can be asked and we will happily assist.

Total time from the initial site survey to the finished report is between 3-4 business days.
